I can believe jim carrey doing a three stooges movie but sean penn and del toro in a comedy like that i really can't see but the Farrelly Brothers who also directed There's Something About Mary are directing this film and it's set to come out next year.

How could anyone waste money on the new "Three Stooges" movie with Sean Penn?
I noticed an article on the internet the other day that they are in the works of remaking "The Three Stooges" with Jim Carrey as Curly, Sean Penn as Larry and Benicio Del Toro to play Moe. Good idea? Bad idea? Why redo a funny classic still popular today even with the youngsters? Has movie making lost ideas so they go back into history? Do the movie makers think they should "upgrade" or "refresh" to modern standards? I have seen some remakes and a few are not bad, but classic films still seem the best. What do you think? (Really no best answer here, just your opinions).I totally agree with all of you.

**Monty....yes, I wasn't a big fan of the Stooges either and can you imagine what the remake will cause with adding probably more and more extra violence to it because of today's "creativity"?**And yes, the music too, for sure.
